The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), known unofficially as the "Nudge Unit", is a social purpose organisation that applies behavioural insights, to inform policy and improve public services. Their successful projects have been as varied as increasing organ donation, transforming the effectiveness of job centres, increasing charitable giving, getting doctors to pay tax on time and reducing medical prescription errors
On the people side of thing, they’ve looked at reducing burn out, increasing staff retention, de-biasing recruitment, and boosting diversity. Applied itself was a spin off from the Behavioural Insight Team!
Join Principal Advisor at BIT, Hannah, as she delves into how behavioural science can improve your People Strategy and D&I across the whole employee lifecycle. They’ll summarise existing research and give some tips on how you can get some of the benefits of nudging.
